| ANNUAL BURRANDOWAN PICNIC RACE DAY
TRANSPORT DRIVING TO BURRANDOWAN RACE TRACK Burrandowan Race Track is a leisurely 3.5 hour drive from Brisbane, either up the D' Agliar Highway from Caboolture if you are leaving from the Northside of Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast. Alternately you can take the Brisbane Valley Highway via Esk if you are leaving from the Western or Southern side of Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Burrandowan Race Track is approximately 60km from Kingaroy. From Kingaroy take the Bunya Highway South and turn right at the Golf Club. From Toowoomba, head west To Dalby, then through Jandowae, Durong and turn right on Burrandowan Road Follow the signs on Race Day! CLICK HERE FOR MAP SHUTTLE COACHES - GETTING TO BURRANDOWAN RACE TRACK ~ Shuttle buses will leave from the Youngman Street entrance to Kingaroy Shoppingworld in Kingaroy. ~ Cost of bus will be $6.00 per person ONE WAY and $12.00 per person RETURN . ~ Total capacity of each bus will be 50 pax. ~ To ensure you don’t miss out – please secure your place on the bus by contacting Kingaroy Shoppingworld Centre Management on 07 4162 5745 or email enquiries@kingaroyshoppingworld.com You will need to nominate a time for both your departure from Kingaroy and also your return from the races – you will be entered on a manifest to ensure your seat. Seats on the buses are limited and will be on a first in basis. ~ Travelling time to the Burrandowan Race Track is approximately an hour. ~ No Alcohol is permitted on the bus. SHUTTLE BUSES – DEPARTING BURRANDOWAN RACE TRACK ~ Shuttle bus will collect departing patrons from outside the main gate. ~ Cost of bus will be $6.00 per person ONE WAY and $12.00 per person RETURN ~ Total capacity of each bus will be 50 pax . ~ Two buses will be returning at the last time slot of 11.30pm – therefore only 100 places are available on the last shuttle. ~ To ensure you don’t miss out – please secure your place on the bus by contacting Kingaroy Shoppingworld Centre Management on 07 4162 5745 or email enquiries@kingaroyshoppingworld.com You will need to nominate a time for both your departure from Kingaroy and also your return from the races – you will be entered on a manifest to ensure your seat. TIMETABLE To the Races Depart Kingaroy 11am - Arrive Races Noon Depart Kingaroy 1pm - Arrive Races 2pm Depart Kingaroy 3pm - Arrive Races 4pm To Kingaroy Depart Races 5.30pm - Arrive Kingaroy 6.30pm Depart Races 7.30pm - Arrive Kingaroy 8.30pm Depart Races 11.30pm - Arrive Kingaroy 12.30am PRIVATE COACHES Patrons who organise their own coaches to transport them to and from the Burrandowan Picnic Races must use the designated set-down, pick-up and parking areas as directed by Race Day Volunteers. Private coaches are permitted to park within this designated area for the duration of the race day. CAR PARKING Car parking is available at the racetrack. Parking is limited and minor delays are expected when arriving and leaving at peak times during race day. VALET PARKING Valet Parking is not available. |
